ASTM E-1316-10a Standard Terminology for Nondestructive Evaluation, now lists LCR as the accepted expression for bulk longitudinal waves propagating at the surface of a material.

LCR Stress Measurement Around the Globe

Two projects this year (2007) have further demonstrated the usefulness of the LCR StressMap technique in two other areas, a round-robin related to residual stress in titanium samples and another for evaluating stress overload and hydrogen attack in steels.

USITutor ultrasonic training software has been tested on Vista and on Windows XP on an Intel Mac and it runs normally.
